a peek into the Cutler house

 faces of Jaden
bubble beards in the bath
choc. chip cookie face

super heroes in action

bri and daddy

does it get any cuter? :)

Sundays!  I love my little primary class:)

peanut butter towers/bowling
and spontaneous luau party with Kiera

she loves sitting like a big girl
lilly pads (aka weights)

sibling shoulder rides, couch jumping, pillow case face
and little Bri watching her daddy mow the lawn (I think she just switched from window to window for a good hour)

entertainment while mommy packs:
cup pyramids and exploring the purses (both hers & mine)

fun water show for the kids
J exercising... (aka lounging on the work bench and walking on the treadmill)
he says he needs to be "strong and tough!"

didn't think we had enough legos to build up to the ceiling, but apparently we do!

painting the china hutch (just using the bottom half for a change)

ice cream cones and a surprise visit to Daddy's office (so fun!)

I love little miss in skirts... seriously adorable.

her favorite thing as of late: snuggling up with her stuffed cows and looking through her books:)
Jaden: "look at my muscles mommy!" and "I'm a ninja!"

Browsing through these pictures... can you tell Jaden LOVES wearing his PJs?!?
He loves to dress himself... in pjs only.
First thing he does when we walk through the door... changes BACK into his pjs!
His favorite?  The infamous Christmas penguin pjs.  I bought them Christmas 2011 (size 4) and he's been wearing them ever since.  Oh and he MUST sleep in long sleeve and long pants... even in the summer months!!!  Oh how I love that boy and all his quirkiness:)

our little helpers (in the pjs of course)
Jaden asks us almost every day if we can make "slow biscuits" (as opposed to the fast Pillsbury biscuits from a tube).  That, along with oatmeal is his favorite breakfast meal:)

tastes of summer

Favorite parts of summer:
grilling
pool days
evening runs (when it's still light out)
park days
 etc. etc. etc.

we kicked off summer with Cody's Senior Party
[ photo booth + us crazies = great memories ]

backyard: playing in the kiddie pool, water gun, and a little baseball

I love when Jaden picks flowers for me:)
and a more legitimate game of baseball
(Jaden was recruited by some boys at the park one day... he was one happy guy, and felt super cool playing with the big boys)

It has been SOOO nice having Cody around the past several weeks.
He has started his new job and is doing great.
(and to make it official: pics from his first week of work)

these boys are the best of friends
warms my heart:)

pool days!

and park days!

Cody and Jaden enjoyed one of the free summer movies.  Jaden thought it was so cool to be at the theater.

more time in the backyard with the pool, water guns, sprinkler, and slip-n-slide
(kinda one of our favorite pass-times around here)

Our good friends, the Hendersons, were in town visiting the Merkleys (Mel's brother) and so they joined us for a night of swimming and s'mores as well.
Celebrated Lacey's 25th birthday too!

and parties!!!!

Lindsey's baby shower was super fun.

BWade rocked the games:)

celebrated Rachael's 30th with a fun girls day

birthday parties for Jaden too... all his buddies are turning 4!  crazy!!!
and rompers are a staple in Bri's wardrobe right now:)  how else do you survive 90 degree weather?:)

After a farewell girls night (when the plan was to make a huge move),
Cody was like, "where's my farwell guys night?"
So they headed downtown for food and some wrestling of sorts.... they thought it would be funny.  I guess it's a guy thing;)

Well, Jaden is starting preschool back up in August.  That's in less than 3 weeks!
Oh sweet summer, do not go yet.

: all things Brielle :

My little girl isn't very baby-like anymore :(
Sometimes I wish I could just stop the clock and keep her like this forever!

She's so fun, sweet, and happy... (with a little sass too).
We all love her to pieces!

She's 14 months old now, but at her 12 month check-up her stats were as follows:

22 lbs. 6 oz. (70%)
33 in. (off the chart)

Currently she wears:
18-24 month clothes
size 4 diaper

She eats and sleeps like a champ, so no wonder she's so big/tall:)
(Kroger stickers!)

She LOVES music... she loves to dance.
She begs to play the piano daily:)

She mimics me ALL the time... cooking, chatting on the phone, applying make-up/chapstick, writing/drrawing, etc.
Melts my heart:)

Had her first official day of storytime!
We drop Jaden off at his preschool-age storytime, and her and I have fun together in the baby class.  After we finish up with Jaden's craft, we spend a good half-hour in the toy area.  They both love it.

sitting like a big girl at her doctor appointment
riding around with brother's shades on:)

blocks with Jaden

she's so snuggly, especially when she first wakes up

I catch her brushing her teeth by the sink all the time.
She loves to climb, explore cupboards, and play with her shopping cart.

Bri is Jaden's newest sidekick :)

 and she's walking!!!
it's been a work in progress over the past few months, and is so stinkin' adorable!

Love you Miss Bri.

Watch her in action :)

you're a grand old flag

I grew up in a patriotic home,
with several relatives having served our country in one capacity or another.
So I tend to think of myself as a patriotic kind of gal:)

We try not to miss an opportunity to hang our red, white, and blue.
Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, etc.

and you may see us in our festive attire at church around this time of year :)

4th of July rocked

We played a little afternoon game of baseball (complete with home plate & bases) in the backyard,

whipped together a banana cream trifle,
and headed over to the ward Independence Day bash.

The young men in the ward were in charge and did a fantastic job!
We enjoyed a delicious grilled dinner along with sides and a plethora of desserts.

flag ceremony

ladies and babies mingled
kiddos dug up the sand pit

while the men played a very ultimate game of frizbee

young and old joined in on the fun
our Bishop brought along his game face :)

we topped the night off with a firework show
the YM did not disappoint... it was awesome!

Jaden wanted to go home with some friends that night so we had Kiera stay the night.
They had a great time and zonked after such a fun-filled night.
waffle sticks for breakfast were a hit:)

Proud to be an American!
