Family Pictures

While in Utah, my most talented sister took some photos of our family.  She captured each personality and we will cherish these for a lifetime.  Thank you, Marianne!

Even with this goofball, we were able to manage a few nice shots;)

Love these handsome boys.

 Oh how I adore her.

a lovely thanksgiving

Leading up to Thanksgiving, the kids were totally jazzed learning all about why we celebrate this special holiday and all the fun things involved.  They made tons of art pieces and crafts to adorn our home and get us into the festive spirit.

Brielle had so much fun playing pilgrim at her preschool Thanksgiving feast.  So cute!

My sweet Grandma Van Orden wanted Thanksgiving of 2016 to be one to remember and it truly was such a special day for all of us!  She invited her 4 children, 16 grandchildren, and a whole lot of great grandkiddos to the Little America for a Thanksgiving Feast buffet you can only dream about!  It was amazing and so great to reunite with cousins and loved ones.

91 years and fabulous as ever!  Oh how we love, adore, and look up to her shining example.

Of course we had to make the most of our time in Utah, so we stayed a few extra days to see as much family as we possibly could:)

Marianne and the kids came up to see us and it was so great having cousin time!  Grandpa Moon even planned a little mini Thanksgiving feast of our own.

We're kinda obsessed with homemade biscuits around here.

Sooooo nice waking up to snow!  Oh how we've missed this.

My dad recently had his record player fixed, and so we had to play an old record and loved seeing Grandma and Grandpa whip out their old dance moves.

Some of the grandkids joined in too;)

Jaden always get such a kick out of doing morning exercises with Grandma Moon.  Brielle joined in too and it was full of fun and laughs!

And these kids always always jump on an opportunity to wrestle Daddy.

We spent an afternoon at the new Station Park mall in Farmington.  The Christmas atmosphere was so fun and the kids loved the playground and meeting Santa & Mrs. Clause!

love these two little eskimo beauties

We checked out The Baked Bear before heading out, and it did not disappoint.  Such a cool way of doing ice cream sandwiches!

We kinda like sprinkles around here;)

My long time and dear friend, Jessica, was playing in "It's a Wonderful Life" at Centerpoint Legacy Theater, and so we surprised her one night and came to see the show!  She was fabulous, and it was so fun meeting up with her after.  It was definitely a surprise!

Extra fun making it a Daddy-daughter date:)

Before heading out of town we were sure to hang out at Keith and Jen's place for an afternoon and meet up with the Cutlers down in Springfield as well.  We went out to dinner and spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's home while the boys hit up the BYU game.

Upon our return home, the countdown to Christmas was on!  The kids loved having their Halloween candy made into a countdown chains and hung in their rooms.

Such great memories from Thanksgiving 2016!
