We ClEaNeD tHe SiNk!!!

A tradition in Logan is to "clean the sink" at Angie's restaurant. The "sink" is an actual miniture sink filled with tons of ice cream and topped with whatever you want! The tradition is to see who can actually finish their ice cream in one sitting...meaning they "clean the sink!" If you finish it completely, you receive a bumber sticker like the one pictured above. So....as you can see, we did it! We ClEaNeD tHe SiNk!!! We had our good friend, Jenn, and my little brother, Andrew, there to help us out though. Even with all four of us, we felt so sick trying to finish that thing off! It was huge, and much harder to finish than we had expected. Even Cody...the ice cream lover of all ice cream lovers, had a rough time! It was well worth it though, and Cody wasn't hesitant to fill up a big bowl of ice cream the next day. As for me, it took a bit longer to crave another spoonful of ice cream.

Leaves, leaves, and more leaves!

Thursday early morning we awoke to a whistling east wind storm! It continued all morning, and as we were headed out the door to class, we opened our front door to this...

LEAVES & TRASH!!!

When we looked out the window it was like there were no stairs.....it was like a sidewalk of leaves. It didn't take too long to clean up with our landlord, Cody, and I all pitchin' in, but it filled up an entire black garbage can and a half! Crazy!:)

We love the Phonathoners!

This past Saturday we had the craziest fun time with the Aggie Connection Phonathoners! This is where Cody and I have been working for the past few years and we just love it. We work with the BEST people ever and always have so much fun going to work. So anyway, last week these cute little phonathoners (a.k.a. Aggie Connection callers) get this crazy idea that we should all party it up at the Cutler residence. So Saturday night they all came over and we seriously had a ball. We were the only married couple, too! Talk about a blast from the past! We ate tons of yummy food, laughed, snorted, just about cried, played games, watched our wedding video, passed around the wedding album, etc. Why they were so intrigued and googly over our wedding stuff....I just don't know! They seriously begged to see it! It was hilarious. Thanks for coming over gals (and 2 guys including Drew-Dog)! We will have to do it again for sure!!!:)

(Us Phonathoners:)
(Junk food galore!)
(I couldn't stop laughing at this...)

Chili, Coloring, & Clue

This weekend was crazy fun! Paul, Kyla, Cody and I partied up Friday night with chili, coloring and Clue. Kyla makes some killer chili and invited us over to indulge. It was so yummy! We then headed over to the stake center for a humanitarian service project. We colored these cute little learning games and others tied fleece blankets. I haven't been this into coloring since the babysitting days! Even Cody and Paul were getting into it! It was tons of fun and turned out super cute. We topped the night off with some Clue. We played by candle light to make it more mysterious. Cody wooped us all!

Go Indiana Hoosiers!

Cody and I took a mid-week trip to Indiana a little bit ago for a dental interview! We thought we'd treat ourselves a bit better this time around, so we said "NO" to a 15 hour drive and holey sheets like our experience in Nebraska. The university offered many local hotels to us at a discount and even a limo ride! Talk about feeling ritzy! Everyone at the university was super nice and made the visit very comfortable. Cody felt great about his interview! We're keeping our fingers crossed!:)

More Halloween FUN!

Hopefully it's not too late to post some of our Halloween festivities! About a week and a half ago, Cody and I doubled up with Casey and Kimber and had sooooo much fun! We attended the Eclipse Banquet and then headed down to Thanksgiving Point for the Cornbelly's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest. There was tons of stuff to do! We started off by walking through a haunted lizard thing...we started at the mouth and ended up under his tail! It was way spooky. There were tons of twists and turns and sometimes the walls of the "digestive track" were squished up against you on all sides. I honestly thought we may never find our way out! There were all these scary people in there that kept following us because they could sense my fright. Cody thought it was hilarious, but I was dying! Fortunately, we finally found our way out! We also went through a haunted corn maze, ran around this giant haystack with slides coming off every slide, walked the crazy little hay stack maze where you can only make right turns, jumped on the giant bouncy pillow, etc. What a blast!

dress up, dress up, dress up!

Cody and I have been playing a lot of dress up lately for the Halloween season. It started with a Murder Mystery date night with a bunch of friends. Each person received an invitation inviting them to a Caribbean wedding and describing the character they will play. Cody played the groom's father, Stuffy Barnacle, and I played the society columnist, Chatty Bodden-Ebanks. There was a total of ten characters, and the bride was the victim! We had such a blast and everyone played their parts so well!

The next role we played was us 50 years from now! We had a Halloween party at work and everyone dressed up. My plan was to dress up as our sweet boss, Lucia. She loves wearing her green jacket and has the cutest curly short hair. I tried to look the part, but I don't think anyone can play a Lucia, but Lucia herself! Cody's dream is to live near a golf coarse once we retire and even have his own customized golf-cart! So that's the part he played. These pictures may give you an idea of what we'll look like one of these days!:)

For Halloween we met up with some friends at Chili's for some dinner, and of coarse, we dressed up! We couldn't really think of some costumes, so I just went at as cat and Cody put on a wig. Not the most creative but we had tons of fun just chillin' with friends. After dinner, we went to Ryan and Brooke's and watched "When a Stranger Calls." Way spooky!
