Grandpa & Fran's Wedding

Cody and I really enjoyed attending Grandpa and Fran's wedding. She is a lovely person and it was great getting to know her better. The ceremony and luncheon took place at a bed & breakfast across the street from the Manti Temple. The view was amazing! We especially loved spending time with Cody's extended family.

Christmas Concert on Temple Square

Every year, my family manages to get tickets for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square Christmas Concert. Cody and I have been attending the concert together for the past three consecutive years and hope to continue the tradition as long as we can!:) We really enjoyed this year's concert; I would say it is one of my all-time favorites so far. The featured guest singer was Brian Stokes Mitchell. What a showman! He is extremely talented and so entertaining. Thanks for sharing your tickets, Dad! Can't wait 'til next year!:)

We Love Our Job!:)

Some may say our job isn't the most glamorous...doing philanthropy that is. We call Alumni of Utah State University and ask for their support to the university. Though it may not seem like a lot of fun, we absolutely love it!!! We work with the best people in the world, have a competitive and motivational environment, and are doing something we have a HUGE passion for...USU! I'm on my third year at the Aggie Connection and Cody is on his second year. It will be sad to leave after next semester. Here are a few shots taken from work activities this past month:

It's been a little while, but boy does it feel good to be done!:)

Aggies vs. Cougars

This game was over a week ago, but I don't know if I'm quite over it yet. The cougars didn't want to come up to the Spectrum so we forfeited home-court advantage and met them down in SLC at the Energy Solutions Arena.


Everything was limited as to make things as fair as possible. There were only a certain number of tickets sold to each school, certain number of cheerleaders, band members, etc. Even so...look at the difference of school spirit and pride...not to mention the difference in driving time. The Aggies didn't leave a single seat vacant. Here's what the Deseret News had to say about the fans:

"While both sides drew great fan support, we learned the Aggies can transfer their legendary spirit of the Spectrum home court. The Aggie student section killed the BYU side. They arrived earlier and were louder. It was like USU students came wired for an organized, orchestrated cage fight with a script. BYU's side sounded like they were at family home evening without a lesson plan leader."

What was even more difficult than having to give up home-court advantage, was that we lost by 5 points. The entire game was a matter of a few points. I believe home-court would have taken care of that:) The smiles below are a little deceiving....we were sitting in the BYU section and were dying. We're grateful to Cody's brother for getting us the tickets though! USU was sold out of coarse! Every cheer coming from their side we turned into an Aggie cheer. They probably didn't like us much, but we just couldn't let the Aggies down!:)

It's Christmas Time:)

Though it may not seem like it...this is actually a very late post. Cody and I have had our Christmas tree up since the day after Halloween! This may seem premature, but we really do just love this time of year! (I think I've mentioned this in the last 3 consecutive posts...not to be redundant or anything!;) Plus, we got our tree up pretty late in the season last year, so there was no messin' around this year! We just finished our outdoor decorating this week and just love getting into the season!:)

So we're still star hunting;) This ornament was the first ornament we accumulated as a dating couple two Christmas' ago. The letter 'C' is pretty important to us...let's just say it stands for Christ, Christmas, Cody, Camille, and Cutler!:)

I got the idea of putting our "Believe" sign in our tree from my sister, Marianne. She actually made this sign for me a few years ago for Christmas, and I've really grown to love it. We usually have it up on our wall next to "The Living Christ...Testimony of the Apostles." I think it's a perfect reminder of the season. Believe in Christ and remember why we celebrate such a wonderful holiday like Christmas.All Done!:)

Thanksgiving!

(Cutler Family Tree)(We all wanted a slumber party together!)We had such a wonderful weekend with our families! I always look forward to this time of year to spend time with the ones we love most. Our festivities started on Wednesday when Cody made a call to Wyoming to coax his family into coming down to Logan a day early. We knew our weekend was looking pretty busy and we probably wouldn't get to spend tons of time with them. Well, the coaxing worked and the Cutlers arrived at our home that evening. We enjoyed some taco soup, games, and just catching up! The next day we had our Thanksgiving feast with the extended Cutler family. It was good to see them again. It had been much too long! After dinner and some crazy family pictures trying to fit us all in the tree...we drove Grandma Jo back to her home in Tremonton. We loved talking with Grandma and hearing her thoughts and feelings. We stopped by at the cometary to see Grandpa's headstone and wish him a Happy Thanksgiving. It's been one year since Nov. 29th that he passed away. We all miss him dearly. After our visit in Tremonton we headed back to Smithfield to visit with the Oliversons and the rest of the Cutler crew. We retired to our home early so we could get a good night's rest before the infamous Black Friday! It was crazy, but tons of fun! I worked from 5 a.m. until 1 p.m. while Cody tried to hit some good sales. We found a great deal on a T.V. at Best Buy and some cute clothes at the Mall. We shopped our fannies off and then were off to double up with Kayli (Cody's cousin) and our friend, Justin. Justin had recently had knee surgery so we kept it pretty chill with dinner and games at our place. It was super fun, but I was sooooo exhausted from being up so early. The next morning we made some yummy French toast with Casey and Derek and then said our goodbyes to the Cutler Crew. We then headed down to Centerville to spend the rest of the weekend with the Moons! I hit a couple bridal showers while Cody hung with the folks. That evening we stayed with Scott and Marianne. We had tons of fun just chillin' and talking. (There also took place a crazy little flood in the bathroom that I can only disclose in person! It's just too crazy to write down;) Marianne made a yummy breakfast the next morning before we went to church. After church we spent the rest of the afternoon with Keith and Jen. We had tons of fun playing with Parker and admiring sweet little Mailey. Together we went and walked around Temple Square to see the lights. So beautiful! We topped the night off with some yummy hot chocolate, compliments of Keith. What a wonderful weekend to think about how much the Lord has blessed us and spend time with our amazing families!:)(Sweet little Mailey)
