Our sweet neighbor, Cheryl, has a lemon tree and is always generous in sharing the wealth with us. Cody was determined to put the lemons to good use and whipped up a favorite of his for the first time, lemon meringue pie!
We used a whole bunch of them for a family night object lesson... turning our lemons into lemonade!

We always get a bird's nest or two each spring. A bit messy, but fun to see the little birdies hatch and learn to fly:)

Speaking of little man... I couldn't help but think just how grown up my oldest is looking these days! He's about 6 1/2 here and looking so big and long!
Ok so I'm slightly obsessed with these little delicious creations. Pizzookies have been one of my all-time favorite desserts most of my adult life, and something Cody and I have enjoyed together since our Logan days and newly-wed date nights to Firehouse Pizza (fizzookies). He surprised me with these skillets last Christmas and I can't get enough!
Slightly embarrassing but true. Sometimes I'm just too tired to finish brushing my teeth! Not much of a night owl you could say...
J asked me to snap a photo of his light bright design. I love his imagination! The sun received it's light from the two blue power sources and shed that light to give life to the birds, dogs, and fishes. Pretty clever I'd say;)
Wanted to remember Bri's bedroom for posterity sake. She has so many little boxes to store her trinkets and treasures. Love that girl.

My super awesome friend gave me this batter dispenser for my birthday, and it's amazing! I've never been able to whip up some pancakes so quickly.

The size of german pancakes as they come out of the oven always amazes me.
Had a tiny scare with this guy when we noticed a bunch of red dots around his eyes after a night of throwing up. It could have potentially been an indicator of something more serious, but all was well and he tested just fine. Whew!
Miss Bri was worried about him and colored this to help cheer him up.
Finally pulled out the sewing machine to mend a work shirt for Cody...
along with my little helper:) She was sure proud!
