Our Jaden is 5 years old! Something about it makes me feel like a more seasoned mom... having a 5 year-old and all. We love this kid so so much. He is hilarious and says the funniest things. Just the other day, he asked Cody if we get to be kids again when we're resurrected. Cody told him we would be more like mommies and daddies sort of thing. Jaden responded with, "well Dad, if you were to come back as a kid I would share my favorite jammies with you... like my spaces jammies and my penguin jammies." If you know Jaden well, he is obsessed with his PJs and will wear the same set for years as long as he can squeeze into it... wear and tear and all! He must love his Daddy if he would be willing to share them:) I love getting snippets of how a child's thought process works:)
Jaden is one bright, energetic, determined, social, loud, stubborn, fun-loving, absolutely hilarious kid. We are so lucky to be his parents and enjoy watching him learn, grow, mature, and develop.
He loves sports, wrestling, swimming, movies, applesauce, PB&J sandwiches, story time, friends, preschool (not so much the homework), his baby brother, skylanders, transformers, etc.
A few questions I asked J to remember him at this age:

What do you want to be when you grow up? Firefighter and Football Player
What is your favorite book? Yay You! (Great Animal Search and Mickey Mouse and the Giant also)
What are you really good at? wrestling
Where do you wish you could go on vacation? Disneyland, Australia, and Legoland
What is your best memory? Playing at Brody's old house in Indiana (playing on his bunk bed)
What would you buy if you had $1000? The entire Skylander set/game
What vegetable to do you dislike the most? peas Which is your favorite? carrots
If you had a wish, what would it be? for a big swimming pool in my backyard
