Outside, the trees and landscape come to life again.  We reflect on the life and death of our Savior and how He also, came to life again.  I love the Easter Season.

To help Jaden understand a little more about why we celebrate Easter, we got him a cute little book that explains it beautifully and simply.

Then we let him dive into his fun Easter gifts.  The turtle tent was a hit!

 Easter Egg Hunt (pj style)

Our Bishop and his wife were kind enough to invite us over for Easter dinner.  Sister Metheny went all out!  On top of the ham, potatoes, veggies, fruit, etc. she also made layered jello to look like Easter eggs, Easter favors at each plate, gifts/candy for the kiddlets, and sparkling cider to top it off.  She is such a fantastic host and we felt very lucky to spend the holiday with them.
