thanksgiving

Life has been non-stop this holiday season, but I had to post about Thanksgiving before Christmas arrived so here goes.  We were so so lucky to get two Thanksgivings this year!  My parents visited us from Utah the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, and we met up with Cody's family in Nebraska for Thanksgiving day.  Holy smokes, we had so much fun!

My folks watched the kids while Cody and I visited the temple.  They were so sweet and did a little mini-Christmas with them.  Presents, big breakfast, etc.

Jaden loved rolling out cinnamon rolls and biscuits with Gramps.
J is still adamant about calling him Grandpa Star and my mom Grandma Moon:)

putting up the tree!

turkey dinner and pies!

Jaden had so much fun dressing up as an Indian for his Thanksgiving feast at school.
Of course he volunteered to bring the turkey:)

After a wonderful visit with my folks, it was on to Casey and Kimber's home in NE.

We love this crew so much!  We had a blast.

There was a lot of food prep going on Thanksgiving day.  Everything was made from scratch!  The rolls, stuffing, apple pie, pumpkin pie... it was all so good.

One of the best Thanksgivings yet!  So glad we got to spend it with both our families.
