'twas halloween

Even though over a month has passed, Halloween did indeed happen at the Cutler house this year :)

a visit to Vertuccio Farms was had

including a ride on these stuffed ponies...

and a ride on the cow train :)

Miss Bri was brave and rode all on her own :)

 then we picked a few pumpkins

and called it a night :)

she comes homes with the cutest crafts including this spidy hat :)

We adults threw a little Halloween party ourselves.

SO much fun!

props to the Wheatleys for these killer costumes!

of course we spookified the place

and had some good eats

and set out some good sweets!

then headed out around the fire for s'mores

and a friendly game of Ultimate Werewolf... a MUST!

the kiddos were seriously cute strutting these darling Halloween shirts around

(thanks to our most talented Aunt Malinda for making them)

they were stoked about their very own Halloween jack-o-laterns

(and used them as night-lights all month:)

I felt so inclined to have Mr. Lan pose in his Halloween jams with a pumpkin...

probably because I had Miss Bri do the same a couple years back :)

then the kids thought it was super cool and joined in :)

and the costumes!

this year we had a beautiful little princess (cinderella)

a strong and brave superhero (Ironman)

taking out the scary pumpkin-head scarecrow with his Ironman glove (which he insisted on having:)

and completed the trio with our little baby elephant :)

after running out of trick-or-treat candy, the kiddos came home and passed out their own!  they loved it!  (not sure how long they will let us keep that up though)

the trunk-or-treat / chili cook-off was a blast

I took home 1st-place prize for a yummy white chili

and what kind of Halloween would it be if the kiddos didn't get a chance to stuff their faces with candy? :)
