Thanksgiving Time

The holiday season certainly crept up on us this year.  I feel like it came and went way waaayyy too fast!  So here we are in January, and I am just now getting around to documenting:)  Thanksgiving was oh so fabulous.  The kids had so much fun at their Preschool/Circle Time Thanksgiving Feasts.  The whole family was invited to Jaden's feast so Brielle, Landon, and I had fun together while Jaden ran around with all his little buddies on the playground:)

We made the drive up to Utah to spend a few days with our families for the holiday.  Even though the drive can feel long, it's always so worth it to see family.  We left on Wednesday after work and drove late into the night and early morning.  We arrived at my brother, Keith's house around 3:00am.  The kids were tired and Brielle was SO not happy she had to sleep in the car, but we made it just fine and the kiddos went right to sleep.  

 We hit some crazy traffic shortly into our trip.  Once it cleared up, we stopped at the nearest rest stop (and so did everyone else on the road.. ha!), and enjoyed this lovely view while we were at it.

We spent Thanksgiving Day with Cody's family.  They drove down from Wyoming and we hit up some Chuck-A-Rama for our feasting.  We were all impressed with the meal.  Huge variety and spread, and the presentation was fantastic!  It was all so delicious.  

The line was massive, but went by quickly with all the fun family chatter and goofing around :)

After dinner we drove up to Wellsville to visit Cody's uncle (Tyler) and aunt (Katie) and their families.  It had been years since we'd seen them, so it was especially great to have that time together.

Then we made a stop in Logan to see my sister, Christine, and her new home.  It was beautiful and so fun to see them!  They fed us a super yummy supper and we loved catching up:)

The following day was Thanksgiving with the Moon Family.  Keith and Jen totally outdid themselves and we feasted like kings!  So fun to have 4 out of the 6 siblings together along with my sweet Grandmother.  We sure missed my parents who are serving their mission in Bakersfield, CA, my sister in WA, and brother in AL.

The cousins had so much fun playing together.  Here they are playing a little game of soccer on the field behind Keith and Jen's home with all the Dads.

Keith and Jen were such gracious hosts, and we are so grateful we had the opportunity to be with our families!!
