end of year randoms

Wrappin' up a few odds and ends of 2015

The kiddos did a soccer season together and really loved it.

It was Brielle's first time and she was totally stoked. Here she is at her first practice.

With her little buddy, Travis.

Jaden was on the same team as a couple of his friends, too. Shawn, Jaden, and Ellie are all in the same kindergarten class and sure have fun together.

Sometimes we'd have a little extra time between J and B's games, and would stop to get breakfast:)

I went a little picture happy with it being Bri's first season and all... I was so impressed with her and how well she picked up on the game!

I surprised Cody with a custom made longboard for his birthday, and this little guy loved it! Even before he was walking, he would find it in the garage and ride down the driveway head first!!

Speaking of weather... we had some pretty massive rain and the soil here just doesn't absorb it very quickly. So... the park soon became a lake, and the sprinklers still came on right on schedule... haha!

I LOVE boot camp. Like really really love it. It has been so great for me to associate with such incredible and strong women!

Phoenix Suns game for a date night!

Brielle definitely knows how to play the part. Just walking around and chatting up a storm with her purse and baby in tow:)

Finally found a useful purpose for these balls! The kids get out on the tramp 100x more than before!:)

Soaking up one of the last Sundays with this little guy in the halls before he heads off to nursery:)

Finishing up his Red Balloon "Let's Play Music" class. It has been such a joy to watch Jaden learn music through fun and play!

One of those Sundays when we were a tad late to Sacrament Meeting, and the kids waltzed in to find us a spot... the sacrament had just started though and so we old folks hung back. The kids had no shame waiting in the back:) Love those cuties.

Poor kid took a bad fall on the scooter and bonked his head HARD.

What started as a huge goose egg turned into a black eye!

(I didn't get a before pic... but here it is on the mend.)

Jaden didn't wear his helmet like his Dad had asked him to, afraid he would feel silly with his helmet-less friends. First thing he said after his fall... "I should have listened to my Dad!" Lesson learned;)

Miss Ellie hangs out with us quite a bit. Her mom is one of my best friends and they live just two doors away. Same number of kiddos, all the same ages:) Ellie and Jaden are in the same kindergarten class, music class, soccer team, Primary class, etc. Needless to say, they feel like part of the family. So when it was her birthday, we were sure to surprise her when she came by in the morning for carpool. Happy B-day Ellie:)
