This is my valentine. He's the best. We had a fun weekend planned with our awesome friends for Valentine's Day, so we snuck away for some one-on-one time a couple days before Valentine's Day.
My dear friend, Julia, watched the kiddos for us. She likes to mix things up when snapping a photo of us on our way out the door.
bringing back the prom poses peeps;)
My favorite strawberry shortcake at Cheesecake Factory and a movie made for a lovely evening:)
My cute friend, Shelley, did a last minute Valentine's Day party for the neighbor kids and they had a fantastic time. Jaden had to miss since he already had a doctor appointment, but Brielle sure loved every minute. Crafts, love potion, and frosting sugar cookies... so so fun!
Bri wasn't too sure about the love potion stuff... haha!
She sure loved them cookies though!
Valentines all set
Both J and Bri worked hard to sign each and every valentine.
class party
Brielle loved showing me her bag full of love and goodies.
Jaden was pretty stoked about his loot too:)
Then came the night of the BIG GRAND BALL! We were so excited! Our stake put on the most fun and memorable night of food, dancing, big band music and a blast from the past with vintage 1920s-1940s attire. Seriously, we had the greatest time!!

We met up for dinner with this stellar group before the dance. Great food, great company.
so fun!

love these ladies
It was pretty hysterical trying to all squeeze onto this tiny bench, but we made it happen:)
Such a fun bunch!
To top the night off, our besties drove in from California and met up with us for the Gala!
It felt like old times getting dressed up and hanging with these two. Love them!!
We didn't want the night to end, so we headed to TopGolf after the dance to hit a few balls and catch up.
It was so fun spending the weekend with the Becks. The kids all get along great and never skip a beat. Here they are doing sleeping bag races down the stairs.
After hitting up Last Chance we checked out Riverview Park. Always so cool. That's Corbin way at the tippy top!
couldn't get enough of the zipline
even Landon took a turn:)
this made me dizzy just watching!
We took them to our classic San Tan Flat for dinner that night. I have never seen the place so crowded, but some how we managed to get a couple tables for our big group!
Valentine's Day Brunch
valentine's goodies for the kiddos
flowers for me;)
cookies and pink pancakes
The girls even had matching heart prints for Valentine's Sunday:)
and Brielle wanted to get the drape involved for whatever reason;)
We love you Becks! Thank you for visiting!
The following weekend was the Valentine's Daddy-daughter dance at the elementary school. I got a ticket for Brielle knowing how much she would love it.

My mamma heart swelled when her cute date showed up at the door with a corsage.
as did Brielle's :)
she was tickled pink!

How I love a reason to celebrate love.
