The kiddos and I made a trip up to Utah over Spring Break. My folks had just returned home from their mission in Bakersfield and we didn't want to miss the chance to welcome them home and catch up with the family. Brielle and Landon were so excited for their first ever plane ride, and Jaden couldn't wait either! Not sure he could remember his last time flying... shortly before his 2nd birthday I believe!
checking out the plane
All aboard!
Here we go!
They all did great. Big kids colored and marveled at everything while Landon snoozed away.
Got to catch up with Lacey for a bit while I waited for my sweet ride (aka Andrew) to come fetch me.
Bri had tons of fun with Kallie!
and the view from the Merkley's backyard is pretty cool!
headed to Grandma and Grandpa Moons!
After spending lots of time playing with G&G, cousins, and doing family names in the temple, I met up with Lacey one more time for some girl time at Cheesecake Factory. Always a pleasure catching up with this lady!
The following day we headed up to Logan to see the Brady Crew.... the kids were out!
They were in rehearsal all day for their amazing production of Pride and Prejudice. My nieces and nephew are seriously growing up. They were absolutely stellar!! I was such a proud aunt!
McCoy (Mrs. Gardiner), Asa (Miss Elizabeth Bennett), and Austin (Darcy)
They were truly superb!
We had a luncheon at the folks house after their homecoming talks. So great seeing family and friends! Jessica has been so loyal over the years. Lover her to pieces!
The Cutler family came to show their support as well. I have the best in-laws!
Welcome home Mom!
Love these cute parents of mine!
Landon was utterly exhausted... I think he was seconds away from falling asleep here!
We sure missed Daddy, but got lots of FaceTime with him each night for stories, prayer time, etc.
He kept busy working on house projects and surprised me with a cleaned out garage! Woot! Even enough room for me to park in there!:)
Headed home! Always love some family time in good ol' Utah!
