Springtime Holidays

Spring time was full of little holidays!  It's so fun to make the day just a bit extra special for the kiddos.  They soak it up (and so do we)!

Once a year the kids get to dive into their favorite cereal... Lucky Charms!  They look forward to it every time.

cheers!

Just days later was April Fools Day.  The kids thought it'd be super funny to trick their dentist Daddy into eating a toothpaste-filled oreo!  Then they got extra clever and piled some frosting onto my toothbrush... haha!

he wasn't too thrilled...

they even filled his glass of milk with some surprises... yikes!

General Conference feels like a holiday around here.  We always look forward to it!  This year we transformed our family room into a tent from King Benjamin's days.  We explained to the kids that each family unit faced their tent towards the prophet to hear his words, so we wanted to do the same.  They loved it:)

We also set up a Conference Store to keep their attention.

Throughout each session, they listened for special buzz words that would earn them conference cash.

Then in between sessions, they would take a trip to the conference store to pick out some goodies and activities to enjoy.

It worked like a charm!

Spring had sprung!

Cody's faces on the April fool's oreos made me laugh really hard. You are such a great mom making all these things special for them!
