My wonderful mom turned 60 years old this year! This was cause for a celebration.
My sister suggested we put on a talent show! Anyone who knows my mom, knows she loves nothing more than to hear her children and grandchildren sing. A performance of some sort is always requested at every family get together, so we thought we'd perform this once without dragging our feet about it:)
So the plans were made and we all begun practicing. Our grandma was able to reserve the beautiful social room at her former apartment with it's beautiful baby grand piano.
Surprise Mom!
Mailey and Parker singing "The Army of Heleman"
It was the sweetest thing!

group finale
we changed the lyrics to "You're gonna miss me when I'm gone" and did the cups and everything
Chorus went something like... "thank you mom, thank you mom, we just want to thank you our dear mom... for your love and your care, for you devotion everywhere, oh... we just want to thank our dear mom"
we did the final chorus with "we're going to miss you when you're gone" as a goodbye
she and my dad are leaving for their mission to CA in September!
It was so fun to perform with everybody!
