Miss Bri turns 4 Disney Style!

Our Bri Bri turned 4 and had such a fun birthday!  Having a birthday the last day in April, she would check our family calendar almost daily to see how close her special day was getting.  She looked forward to it ALL month long and was so excited when the day finally arrived!  I let her open a gift early to take with her to preschool for show-and-tell; she was thrilled to show her friends her new little pink fairy piggy bank:)

She was one of the last birthdays of the school year and felt so special finally getting her turn to be the birthday star for the day!

She loved getting special cards in the mail from grandparents too!

The morning of her birthday we had a yummy pancake breakfast with lots of Mickey mouse shapes to hopefully give a clue as to what we had planned for the weekend, and of course she requested an Elsa themed cake:)

She was so cute and posey with her presents:)

Along with this Minnie dress were tickets to Disneyland!!  Cody and I had been waiting months to reveal the big surprise and were so excited to finally tell the kiddos.  They were super stoked too!

So after we sang Happy Birthday and enjoyed a cupcake...

we were off to California for our weekend adventure at Disney.  I hadn't been since I was a little girl and was super looking forward to it, and experiencing it with the kiddos for the first time too!:)

We stayed with our amazing friends, the Becks, and did some fun adventuring at the Griffeth Observatory the night we arrived.

The place is huge with breathtaking views of LA, the Hollywood sign, and Pacific ocean.

Then it was Disney time!!!

We couldn't wait!

It was so nice having Rach and her fam with us to show us the ropes and how to make the most of our day.  Love this friend of mine.

Everything was magical and spectacular just like we hoped, and Miss Bri loved wearing her Minnie get-up all day:)

passing some time while waiting in lines

Jaden loved being the driver here.

J was fearless and rode just about every ride in the park!  That's him holding Cody's hand... look of shock I tell ya!

Waiting for "Mickey and the Magical Map" to begin.

Such a great show!

Jaden was really looking forward to Jedi training and waited in the standby line to get in, and he did! He was stoked!

Taking on the Dark one.

Darth Vader said, "The force is strong with this one" and I couldn't agree more:)

He was lucky to get the purple light saber because he says it is the most unique and rare.

Meanwhile, Brielle and I enjoyed some princess story time at the Royal Theatre,

browsed the Frozen gift shop,

and visited the Royal Hall where we met Cinderella, Ariel, and Snow White.
This girl was in heaven!

Then it was off to the Dumbo ride.  Bri was asking all day:)

The Indiana Jones ride was stellar!

We ended our day with Paint the Night parade!  It was completely amazing!

We had a perfect view of the castle and firework show too.  We were in complete awe.  Disney does such a fantastic job!

We then loaded up and made the drive home to be to work and school the next morning.  What an adventure!  Thanks for the magic, Disney!  Happiest of 4th birthdays Miss Brielle!
