A few fun things our family did last fall.
Arizona offers so many great hiking trails, and Autumn is the perfect weather to enjoy them. We did some nature walks around San Tan Mountain with the kiddos and some friends.
Cody took the older two and headed to Castles and Coasters. Kids loved it!
Jaden was a bit nervous about the ropes course, but loved the challenge. He said it was awesome!
Cardinals game with the Abaroa's was so much fun!
Taylor found this super super fan, and we were determined to not leave without these sweet cancer awareness towels;)
Cody is always up for a challenging adventure and ran a Ragnar race with some friends from the ward back in November. He did great and had a fantastic time!
They called themselves the Abominable Slowmen, haha. They took turns on each of the three legs, and hung around/rested at camp in between their turns.
Talk about an beautiful landscape to run over the trails.
Great job, babe!
Took the kiddos to the I.D.E.A. museum over fall break. Always a fun time!
the black light "Alice in Wonderland" exhibit is always a hit
This staff member was super sweet with the kids and did a fun puppet show with them.
Extra fun having the Smiths join us!
I loved joining Brielle's preschool class on their field trip to Menchies. It's her new favorite:)
Landon was one happy camper to come along.
except for the overload of smooches... ha
Checking out behind the scenes.
Even the cold freezer! Thanks Miss Autumn, so fun!
Family night at Makutu's Island
Father/Son outing at a Phoenix Sun's game... Jaden loves a night out with Dad!
Cody and I accepted an invitation to help put up lights at the Mesa Temple in preparation for the Christmas season. We invited another couple with us and made it a date night. It was quite the job, but a lot of fun.
They harnessed us up and to the lift we went. A little nerve wrecking, but exciting at the same time.
We worked on two trees that night, and didn't finish until the sun was down.
Loved the results! We prided ourselves on our very own 'tree of life." ;)
Had fun at the wedding reception of a ward member Cody home teaches. It was beautiful and the kids enjoyed being included.
My dearest friend, Kari, welcome her 4th baby last fall and so us girls got together for a little 'Baby Sprinkle' celebration to pamper her before baby came.
Pedicures of course!
Then lunch at Cheesecake Factory with presents too!
Met up with Alene and her cute little guy for a fun day at the zoo.
monkeys were a hit!
We even spotted lots of life-sized lego animals... super impressive.
Hard to forget how a swam of bees came after our popsicles and snow cones! Yikes! Such a fun day though! Grateful for sweet friends like Alene.
Great times with this little crew of mine.
