a little this and that

The weather here has been awesome!  The kids were so excited to pull out the pool.  They were in and out all day and had a blast!


With warmer weather comes park days!
It was actually kinda chilly this day, but we'll take whatever sun we can get:)

A while back, I took the kids to a balloon show!
It was amazing the kinds of things they put together... from monkeys & palm trees to full size Lightning McQueen cars.  Jaden left with a ghostbuster gun and Miss Bri took home a fishy.  It was really cute watching her act very timid and hide her eyes, then start to warm up a bit.  She was so excited when they handed her Ariel from Little Mermaid too!


Baked up some goodies for Cody's seminary class auction.  Took all day!:)


Speaking of Cody... he recently grew out the beard and strutted this stache around for a few days:)

We recently said goodbye to our first car as a couple:(  Now that we're a family of 5, it was time to invest in a family size car... a mini-van of course!  We love it, but this civic of ours carried so many memories it's hard to see it go.

This was Cody's car back in our dating days.  He taught me to drive stick shift, and I even knocked into a couple cars...ha.  This car took us to Virginia, Tijuana, Ohio, Tennessee and back again.  We drove it to the temple on our wedding day.  We drug it to Indiana behind our big ol' moving truck, and in Indiana it will stay... all 280,000 miles of it.

Goodbye Civic!

I hosted a little going-away party for my dear friend, Lacey, who moved across the country.  We decided last minute to make it a mini-baby shower after finding out she is expecting her second little girl!

As always, it get's a little crazy with these awesome gal pals of mine.
