school in session

Summer break always seems to go by too fast and before we knew it, school was in full swing again!

Jaden was excited to be a big 1st grader and even get to play on the big playground at recess.

Started up carpool with our cute friend & neighbor, Ellie, again too!

Not long after, Brielle started her Pre-Kindergarten year with Miss Autumn.  She was excited to have some familiar friends in her class and get to know some new friends too:)

I love getting pictures from her teacher letting me see this cute girl in action!  It's fun to see some of their projects come together too.

Just waiting to be picked up for preschool carpool.

The girl has homework too!  She's a champ and just gets right to it (the majority of the time).

With the start of school, also comes the official start of ballet lessons..

music lessons..

karate lessons and testing..

spirit days..

and spirit nights (this is Jaden's reaction to watching his school teachers and staff go for it in a pie eating contest).


Back to School Disney Party... girls were super into the princesses:)

while Jaden was more concerned about getting some yummy treats.

Soon into Jaden's 1st grade year, he lost his 2nd front tooth and got to strut around his toothless grin for a few weeks.  I LOVE this toothless smile!

Too bad he wouldn't show it off in his school photos!;)
